A place is here when its source says it is open to all or that guests are welcome: club nights that take visitors, cafés with a regular game, public tables, open meetups. It is the shortest route to a game if you are new in town or just passing through.
Open does not mean free or always on. Check the session times, whether you need to bring a board, and the cost line before setting out. The access rule is the one the source stated on the date shown; rules change, and a polite message beforehand rarely hurts. “Not confirmed” means we could not find a recent dated sign that the sessions still run.
