Chess-results.com lists 13 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, held between 2025-01-05 and 2026-09-27, with 'Academia do Lumiar' (also 'Academia Lumiar') as organiser and the series title 'Torneio da Velhinha'. The latest, held 2026-09-27, was 'Open de Outono de 2026 - 34.º Torneio da Velhinha'. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. Academia do Lumiar A and B play CN 2ª and 3ª divisão 2025-26 (updated 20.05.2026); an AXL obituary of 2026-07-21 says a veteran was a regular at the Academia do Lumiar in recent years. secondary · [9]
