What the form collects
When you send the form, we receive your name, the contact you give (an email address, another contact, or both) and your message: the place, what to add or change, where it is published and your connection to it. The form also sends the address of the page you sent it from and the language of that page. A hidden field that people never see is there to stop automated spam.
Where it goes and why
Your message goes to a form backend that stores submissions; we read them together at the next update of the list. We use it only to check and apply what you report, and we reply only if you explicitly ask for a reply and give a contact. We do not publish your name or contact, sell them, or pass them to the places you write about. A correction we publish describes the change, not the person who reported it.
Counting visits
We count visits with a first-party analytics script served from this site. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. It records which page was opened, the page that linked to it, and the browser, device type and country derived from the request, and we look at these only as totals.
No third-party trackers
This site loads no advertising, social media or other third-party tracking scripts, and no outside fonts, maps or images. Links to sources and maps take you to other websites, which have their own privacy rules. The hosting service that delivers these pages processes technical data such as IP addresses in order to serve them.
Deleting what you sent
To ask us to delete a message you sent, use the same form: give the name and contact you used before and say what you want removed. The message is deleted from the form backend at the next review. We send no confirmation or other reply unless you explicitly ask for one and give a contact.
