Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 1 Portuguese-federation tournament in 2025–2026: 'I Torneio de Semi-Rápidas do Grupo Boardgame Center Amadora', held 2026-07-05, with 'AmaXadrez - Associação de Xadrez da Amadora' as organiser. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. AMADORA XADREZ A plays CN 2ª divisão 2025-26 (chess-results, updated 2026-05-20). The association's own site (footer 2026) says it began in 2014, has over 40 members of all ages, and teaches chess from initiation to advanced level. secondary · [8]
