Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 92 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, held between 2025-01-04 and 2026-10-04, with 'AX Lisboa' / 'AXL' / 'Associação de Xadrez de Lisboa' as organiser (CD in titles stands for Campeonato Distrital). The latest, held 2026-10-04, was 'Supertaça da Associação de Xadrez de Lisboa 2025/2026'. 2 more are scheduled after 2026-10-06, the last on 2026-10-11. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. The count covers all AXL-organised events in the area, including school tournaments, the Supertaça and Joga Lisboa. Hugo Dias won the 2026 Distrital de Clássicas Individual Absoluto, final stage 20-26 July 2026 at GX Alekhine (AXL article 2026-08-06). The 2026/27 edition is scheduled from 2026-10-10 (Semirrápidas). secondary · [5]
